| Introduction I was born in Phoenix, Arizona and have lived here all of my life, with the exception of my time in law school. After high school, I began working for the U.S. Postal Service and continued working there in various capacities for nearly fifteen years. While working for the postal service, I served as a union steward for the local union and developed an interest in law. Based on this interest, I finished my bachelor’s degree at Arizona State University while working full-time for the postal service. Afterward, I attended law school in Seattle, Washington. While originally intending to stay in the Seattle area after law school, my wife and I decided that we wanted to move back to the Phoenix area and I began my legal career in my hometown. I am an avid supporter of Phoenix’s local sports teams, and enjoy attending games when I have the opportunity.
